About GFA (Global Film Alliance)
Global Film Alliance (GFA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in the United States, committed to empowering youth and emerging filmmakers through film education, hands-on production, and international collaboration.
We produce one youth-centered short film every quarter, offering children and teens opportunities to act, direct, and create on real film sets. Our programs help recent graduates launch their first professional projects, and host international youth film competitions, camps, and showcases.
A core part of our mission is to support underprivileged and low-income youth. GFA provides:

In this world,

Tens of thousands of gifted children
are silenced by poverty, immigration status, or family hardship.
They see the spotlight, but are never allowed to step into it.
They carry stories, but no one hands them a camera.
They dream—but are denied the right to chase those dreams.
We exist to rewrite that reality.
Our mission is
To ensure that every child—regardless of background, nationality, or wealth—has the right to express, the freedom to create, and the chance to be seen.
We use film to awaken the unheard.
We use education to ignite imagination.
We build bridges from creativity to opportunity—
connecting kids to real productions, global stages, and a future of their own making.
What we do

Produce one short film every 3 months, fully led by youth participants—from concept to camera

100% free sponsorship for low-income families, helping students build portfolios for film school and art college applications

Open doors to major platforms and film festivals, giving real stories a place in the spotlight

Build a launchpad for future directors, screenwriters, actors, and producers—starting small, aiming limitless
